'At Kloosterboer, everything is always well-organised and business runs smoothly because agreements and schedules are always kept.'
Tough, down-to-earth, enterprising, meticulous.
Took a fashion course, worked in clothing shops and as au pair in the USA. Started at Kloosterboer in 2006.
My family, ballroom dancing, reading.
I started work at Kloosterboer via a temporary employment agency. My initial job was to place stickers on cargo but after a while, I asked if I could try out the forklift truck and I really liked it! I’ve since become a mother to a son and started to work three days a week. I make sure that incoming cargo is stored in the cold store and prepare outgoing loads ready for further transportation. It can sometimes be physically demanding work, manually loading jerry cans or boxes onto a pallet. It’s all part of the job. Of course I’m a woman working in a man’s world but they’re used to it now and I really enjoy my job. At Kloosterboer, everything is always well-organised and business runs smoothly because agreements and schedules are always kept. I feel entirely at home here.
